Thunderhill, with instructor notes

I often edit the track videos I record while instructing at Thunderhill and then upload them and/or send my student a DVD. I try to make a point of getting at least one session of them driving in a lead-follow so they can see their own line, etc. and if we do an afternoon ride-along, I include that so they can see another version of the line, at speed.

You might have to speed-read a few parts.

It would be interesting to have the student add notes about what she was thinking at different point along the track. I can just imagine the commentary you guys would offer up.

That was fun to watch! Nice driving.
I like the text explaining your lines. Very informative.

Thanks.

I have received more positive comments on my instructor notes than I expected. Usually those types of things pull in lot's of opinions about how it "should" be done. That said, every car and situation is different. In this video I'm showing a new driver the course, then I tell her to just us that as a starting point and once she's used to that try other variations to see if something else works better, or worse.

At least my driving matches the advice I am giving, plus I think I am pretty consistent lap after lap.
