TAMSCC AX 2/26 Results...

The results:
Super fast course, with sudden tight/slow parts and with no flow what so ever

5 as 72 VanderPloeg, Drew Blue 2006 Honda S2000 64.142
(Nice driving. PERIOD)

27 cs 177 Barnes, Zack Black 1999 Mazda Miata 68.545
(Conage conage everywhere every run, blaming bad tires)

72 ssm 32 Fajkus, Paul Green 1997 Honda Prelude 79.192
(SSM class, the "street tire catch all class" for the Ags)

Commencing excusery: my tires were dead, I had no idea I was consistently and absolutely knocking the piss out of one cone. I thought it was an expansion joint. *DOH* Cranial-rectal reversion surgery now required.

I heard the drive home was.... um interesting. Ricer fly-bys are not cool.

I accomplished my goal of not comming in last.

I wasn't running the front swaybar due to broken endlinks so that made for a very spinny ride. In retrospect, I should of at adjusted the rear swaybar to a less stiff setting. Oh well. Still had a ton of fun though.

Thanks for all the pointers, Zack. I would have probably been in the 90 second range without them.

Drew's S2000 is amazing. I had no idea they were so fast.

The car currently in the second fastest Stock class. And the car is only as fast as the driver...for the 213489632113297451329754387129548973156th time.

It was a fun course for me, but I am on pretty fresh tires. I wish I could have finished my last run without the spinnage, it was definetely quicker than the 3rd run, but #2 in PAX is definetely ok by me.

Zack has a point Paul. I guarantee that I could have won SSM in your car, providing you had a seat I could fit in. I had done it many times in mine when I had it.

I agree. Seat time is the absolute key. I got beat by so many "slow cars" with faster drivers.

I gotta lay off from the next couple of weekend's events to have enough money for parts I'm buying from Billy soon.

Fortunately, my new work schedule includes Sundays off so I plan to be attending many AutoX's in the future after that.

FYI Paul for 06 the Prelude goes to E-Prepared, its no longer in DP. Although there was some comedic value to "Paul Fajkus, DP"

What? EP is filled with CRX's and Civics, Mustangs run in CP.

^^ WhoOps. You're right. I was looking at the Tamu results for 'E Street Prepared' on accident.
