NOV 20th Autocross Austin TX - Honda Prelude Forum

I'm a glutton for punishment, critique and harassment, so after listening to the doubters, haters, whatever, all but write off the season, and autocross attendence at our finale, I stepped up and said "F*** that! If we're going down we're going down blazing"

SO I'm Event master Novemeber 20th.

A few words: Now the aggies have their "Costascross" a 2 minute long road courses/autocross, and I say "Great, good for them" And in San Antonio everyone seems to get like 8 runs, and I'm all about seat time. But no one does it like SPOKES. A few of us used to even have SPASM Championship(SPOKES Preludes Autocross Series Master)!! I'm sorry you will not get to challenge me for the SPASM title, While I'm the 2004 Champion, I believe 2005 is now firmly in Drew's hands. But you can always take a run at him....

I know there are a few new people to Preludes, want to autocross and in Austin. And I say this: "Your attendence is expected" So logon to SPOKES.org and register for the Nov 20th autocross HERE!!!

Why? You ask...what do i get for my hard earned CA$H? You get all this:
SPOKES "Champions Bash"

*rolls eyes* Technically its in Seguin. However, being that SPOKES is based in Austin, we are really trying to increase turnout from Austin people....

You may not have the slowest run in Novice but I wouldnt be so sure about the worst PAX'd time in Novice. DM is going to rape you.

His car is D prepared (.844) not D-mod (.879). Niether of which 'help' him since he has to run Street Tires to run in our Novice class. And, our novice class is a PAX/RTP class meaning that placement in class is determined by PAX.

Somehow, I doubt any of this means anything to Paul, he'll be glad to just show up and actually drive for once.

I dunno Paul, right now there are only 2 Novices... you could trophy. Only one person to beat...
Maybe recruit your friend in the Jetta, I'm 1000000% sure you can beat him.

Lol. My odds are looking better then. Hmm 2002 BMW M Roadster. Hope he sucks.

The Jetta guy bought a WRX Wagon. A car pretty good for AutoX you would think.

However he has no intention to AutoX even though he has spent excessive amounts of money on the suspension. Makes absolutely no sense to me...

Tell him I said he squats to pee. His suspension is probably tuned for the street, and "canyon running anyway" Or drag racing...

Thanks to anyone/everyone that came out. Made the event awesome! 89 entrants in November!! I don't think Erik Strelnieks, Steve Hudson, Tom Holt or Andy Hollis stopped giving "demo" rides all day... lots of smiles on alot of novices.
