picked up the DA today, that i just bought for $1400. 92 GS, 198K miles, mostly stock with some dumb mods to it.

well, to start the car isn't perfect. i mean, it smells like a 15 year old car, the car vibrates like hell, i'm sure the suspension bushings are shot, and i haven't done a compression test yet, but i bet it needs a rebuild.

it also needs a new oil pan, has a radiator leak, and i'm sure plenty of other ridiculous things to suck my money out of me.

but, hey, it's a cheap track sled.

plans are guttage, safety stuff, and basic maintenance/trackworthiness mods for now. won't be a full race car for another 2 years or so, but a fun DE car until then, slowly becoming the h4 backmarker it was meant to be.

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. It should be fun building the car up though.
