NASA N'east schedule up :)

NASA + PDA =

http://www.pdadrivingschool.com/schedules/

3 shots at watkins, 4 limerock, 5 pocono... damn! Now I just have to find some massive amount of change in the couch cushions. I will be surprised if my car survives the HPDE season

Who else is thinking about going to some of these?

I'll be out there as usual - just have to put new rings in first
Until then, I'll be driving my buddies blown miata on track
Only one more week until VIR!

Hey Chris,

Looking forward to catching up again. It's been (still is) a long silly season but it looks like you're about to get back in the action. How long do you think it'll be before you get the Lude back on the track?

Looks like we're the only ones around here... boo!

Yield,

So which events are you going to be doing this year?

I'll hopefully have it all together by mid-April to May hopefully...My wife and I are in the middle of purchasing a house, so I have to put the racing plans on the back burner for another year or so....

As far as the lude, I should hopefully have it up & running come Mid-April to early May..I'm having the guys up at Curpier Motorsport freshen up the bottom end.

In the meanwhile, I may end up driving one lap of america with my buddy, who's been bugging me to co-drive since last year. So, at least, I'll get to see lots of new tracks. We'll be shaking down his new engine this weekend at VIR, so I'm pysched!

One lap - very cool! How'd VIR go? I see the conditions got a bit funky.

I'm pinched for $$$ as always so even though we have a lot more weekends this year with pda, I'll probably only get out 2 or 3 times. I definitely need to do Watkins again and then I'll have to decide between lime rock and pocono. I haven't done pocono yet but it looks a little boring compared to the other tracks, but I'm not a huge fan of lime rock either. I think the place is going down hill and the safety there has always been a bit of a concern. I'll let you know when I go.

Good luck with getting the lude back in shape. I need another ride

VIR was a lot of fun (especially with the bad weather)! The turbo miata was a blast to drive (240 hp to the rear wheels) & it really taught me a lot about smooth throttle input in the turns. (talk about power oversteer) Kind of cool/scary to hear the turbo spooling up mid-corner , but I still like NA power better..... I also got to see lots of new parts of the track that I never saw before (read: my group 2 student lifted at the top of the uphill esses & another time we almost slid all the way to the North Carolina state line )

Instead of Pocono or Lime Rock again, you should come down to Summit Point later this year. It's less than 4 hours from my place in northern NJ & you can also camp out to save money! Come down to hyperfest with NASA-MA in July & you'll not only get to drive, but can watch the girls in the daisy-dukes contest as well

Yeah, summit sounds like a lot of fun. I've actually been trying to convince my buddies to give it a shot. Definitely a good idea.
