Mugenlude/Jason in the latest SportsCar

That's right, Jason was mentioned in the latest SportsCar magazine, which the main article is on who will win at this year's SCCA Solo Nationals. Good luck, Jason! Hope there's no protest issues this time out for ya.

ah yes, the SportsCar "Who Will Win" curse!!!!!! Hopefully I can avoid the curse.

If we get protested again this year I might just set the car on fire and leave it there!!!!!!!!!! Then, go road racing!!!!

It'll definitely be the most memorable STS competition in Nationals history if you do that. Wish I could make it out to compete and watch, but alas, fatherhood has taken up all my remaining vacation days. Keep us posted, oh, and tell the ladies at Baby Dolls I said hello.

Jason was protested and DSQ'ed at Nationals last year. The Nationals thread from last year will explain a bit of what happened: http://preludeonline.com/showthread.php?t=212799

Personally, I thought the protests were ridiculous...or, to reiterate what Jason said last year, "pretty weenie". It's sad that people are getting too anal and have to scrutinize every little thing at Nationals in recent years. I realize that you need to stay within the rules, but the items protested did not give Jason any real advantage over anyone else.

I can't image you have a lot of free time, we're hitting it hard now because I know that in the coming years when we have a baby there just isn't going to be time to fully focus on racing.

I'll deposit a could dollars for you BD's. :-D

Me too, last year was last year... I'm past it, nothing I can do now but do it again and prove them wrong.

You can find ways to still do some racing with a kiddo. Now if you have two or three kiddos, it might be more difficult. My son loves coming out to the track. The wife doesn't mind, except in the middle of summer!
