I will be talking with the machine shop next week to get 5 to 10 sets made up. It's basically an aluminum adapter sleeve that pressed into the stock control arm (5K to 10K lbs force). It's made from solid stock 6061 aluminum, machined out (billet style). The bearings are Teflon lined steel, so they are very strong and no need to lubricate. The bearing stand offs are made from solid stock stainless steel. High density foam is used to keep dirt and dust away from the bearing. This foam does not hold water and will dry fast if it ever gets wet. The bearings are held in tightly with steel clip rings, and they can be replaced by hand should they wear out.
Anyway, take a look at the pictures of the 3rd and most likely final design....
Why couldn't you make it from aluminum pipe? It would save a lot of machining.
Instead of using 2 clips, how about leaving a shoulder on one end, with a smaller ID. The bearing would slide in from one end and sit on it while the clip could be used on the other end. This could save a little more machining and not cut another two stress-raisers into it. Of could, you'd allow for a little radius on the inside corner of the shoulder.
I might very well have them made from 1.5" OD, 1" ID pipe, however the pipe actually cost more than a solid bar. I'm going to let the machine shop do what will cost less overall. As for the only have 1 clip ring, I also considered that, but the overall price is going to be cheaper with 2 clip ring grooves (EZer to machine).
Are the stock parts that insufficent that they need to be replaced?!

No, the stock rubber bushings work just fine. These solid bushing are just if you want every last faction of a second you can get per lap. These will eliminate chamber changes from the stock LCA rubber bushings during hard cornnering.
I just got a quote from the machine shop. Looks like I can sell them for about $100 shipped, with bearings.
Ok. Well the Prelude is becoming more and more of a track car. So i just might have to pick up a set of these and your fronts as well.
PLEASE still have them "next" winter. That is when i would put them in.
Thanks for the development for the ludes!!! It looks like a really nice product.
