I have a question for anyone who is using Hoosier Road Race Compound tires to autocross on. What tire pressures are you using. (A range is fine) Here is my set up, and background info so you know why Im asking this.
Right now, Im running 225/45-15 R3S03's on Kosei 15x7, with Koni Yellow's, H&R Sport springs, and a 25mm adjustable rear swaybar. Camber is -1.0 F/ -1.4 R ,all other specs are stock. I run the Koni's at 1.25 turns + 1 notch up front (from soft), and 1 notch from full stiff in the rear, and the tires at 35 psi front, 36 psi rear.
Usually, I run the tires at 34 psi up front, but I changed it to 35 psi up front during the middle of the day at a test and tune when my co-driver noticed the drivers side front tire rolling over. At the end of the day, I noticed that the passenger side front tire had corded on the outside shoulder. It seems that we had worn both front tire to the point where no grooves were no longer visible. I had two very experienced autocrossers (FWD cars, except they are CRX's) look at the tire, and one driver thought the wear across the tire was great (Its very even. The tread depth marks are even the same depth across the tires), but the other said while it was good, I probably should have been using more air. I thought that 35 psi was about as much as you would want.

Anyone running that much air on Hoosiers? Anyone running more? (Of course, different cars, different surfaces, but Id just like to hear what others have found works.) Thanks in advance.
