Well, today I had my first event in DSP, all I have at the moment is exhaust, KONI/GC, and my victoracers so I am exteremly underprepared. I ran the Koni's 1/2 turn from full stiff up front and 3/4 turn from full stiff in the rear and it seems to work very well.
Going into my 3rd run I was 1/10th behind the current leader (a well prepared but not fully prepped Neon). I wasn't able to pick up that 1/10th of a second and the Neon was able to drop 1/2 second off his best run.
I ended the day placing second out of four. I was very pleased with the new suspension and the tires. I still need some more seat time on the Kumho's, I'm sure they have a lot more grip left in em that I need to expose.
On a bad note: I'm rubbing the inside of the fender (metal part) bad. There are some pretty large rub marks in the front and rear of the front inside fender. I'm on base rims with 225/50-16 Victoracers. My question is, should I just raise the front of the car a little or should I try a 5mm spacer and see how that works?

Both raising and using spacers would definitely help the rubbing.
The bad thing about spacers is that you have less stud to thread the lugnut on. I've ruined studs this way. You could get extended wheel studs and safely run some spacers.
I think I had a larger spacer though. You may be able to get away with running a small one.
Raising the car a little bit would be the easiest option.
It's a pretty big area thats rubbing, no evidence on the tire so thats good. But it stripped all the spray onliner so I'm down to bare metal in some areas making it more prone to rust.
Should I just carry some paint/spray on liner with me and cover it up after each event?
