EDFC for Konis

I was wondering if it is possible to hook up a tein EDFC or the greddy one to koni shocks. Anyone have any thoughts.

Probably not.

One has to wonder why? I assume since you put this in the racing section, you do some road racing on the track or auto-x??? You simply don't have time to adjust your suspension and wait for it to set to make a difference. It would be way more beneficial to you to set it and forget it to maintain consistency.

I could only see putting this system on a car that doesn't have easy access to adjust the shocks (which the prelude does have very easy access).

When I was running koni's, it was on near stiffest and left the whole entire time.

I'm actually just starting my build and don't auto-x at all lol, but I didn't see a suspension section and saw a lot of suspension threads here. But seeing as in the future it is going to still be my DD but also see track time, so the simple adjustability would be ill.

I believe the all the Tein non-racing shocks have incremental adjustments rather than a free position knob like the Koni's have. So my vote is no, I don't they'll work.

So basically you want this just for bling? anyways, it won't work on konis. You would need teins that were made for it.

Yeaaaa yoooo, any piece of I.C.E. adds like 25 at the wheels though, so if that's just bling then I don't know anymore. But it was also just a new thought that I've never seen baught up, and would be a nice touch to a suspension set up, nah mean?

Well it really doesn't serve a purpose other than you are too lazy to physically go and adjust your suspension yourself.

Like I said, in some cars, you can get to the rear shocks to adjust so this would be a good alternative (i.e celica's).

Anyone with koni's know that they usually have 2 settings they use (street and if you are tracking the car). There isn't much adjustment in between or on a daily basis. Anyone with the money to blow will get better revalved konis which are even better.

You could also get these:

Thats bling and functionality in one piece.

It was kind of a joke although if you had enough money, i'm sure they would make an application for the prelude.

Those are motons. Probably about $5000 worth of shocks right there.
