hello all,
i meet a fellow luder at the track over the weekend thats apart of the forums.
i said i would post the pics i took of his car, but i forgot to ask his name or handle.
here's the zip file of all his pictures, there not very good. Sorry http://www.eliteeuros.com/prelude.zip
here's his car.
If you in the area I'm planning on going out to brooksville on the 18th of November with a few friends to run at a Florida Corvette racing club event. So for there are two preludes an integra and a Turbo Type S RSX I'd love to see another prelude out there.
Your pictures were great! Sebring is definately a fun track. The lovebugs were brutal though. I had to come in after a couple of laps because it was getting hard to see out of the windshield.
Still getting the occassional high rpm oil starvation issue which cuts the power so I'm going to have to think about doing something more drastic. I overfilled the oil a little bit and it helped some, but don't want to risk damaging the engine.

Hello MtangKlr,
I'm in the Orlando area, but the Prelude is no longer my autocross car. I used to campaign it in STX, but now I run a 1999 Miata in C-Stock. How do you sign up with the corvette club? I usually autocross at Brooksville & Deland with the Central Florida SCCA (actually me and a buddy are the solo2 chairs for the region). You have to pre-register to get onto the Brooksville site since it's a gate controlled facility. www.cfrsolo2.com. (No obligation to come if you pre-register).

I register at myautoevents.com which is a free sign up site and has all the autocross events that are going on Nationally rather than just localy. They usually charge 40 bucks and give out a free lunch. Last time there was also a retal car challenge. Just to see who the best driver was the car happen to be a ford Taurus. it handled like a bar of soap. If your interested in joining I'd be happy to have a miata in the group or anyone else that wants to come out. I will be taking about six people from the Gainesville Ocala area. The field is a very nice size there are anywhere between 15-20 cars so you'll get plenty of runs in. This is a test and tune session not a SCCA event. But it is nice to see how you stack up aginst a Z06 although I think that the driver has a big impact over the car when it comes to Autocross.
Darrin Disimo is a multi-time almost national champion, in C-Stock. Every year in the past 4 he has had some issue where he hasn't *quite* won the class, though he is considered the benchmark.
That said, he kicks my ass regularly. But its alot of fun to party with him and his co-driver Rick Sleeper at big events.
