Camber Settings/Camber Kits

So after finally getting my alignment set where I want it I am now playing with camber. I have an SH and I have it set at roughly a .5 finger gap in the front and a 2 finger gap in the rear (and corner weighted it so the cross weights are the same). At the current height my camber readings are (without a driver)

Front Right: 1 degree 42 Minutes
Front Left: 1 degree 19 Minutes
Rear Right: 1 degree 33 Minutes
Rear Left: 1 degree 10 Minutes

My question is at this ride height should I add some negative camber and if so which camber kit would be the best? I have noticed that many advertise "better tire wear" which I'm assuming is adding positive camber which is, well, bad for tire adhesion so I'm looking for one that will actually give me positive camber if that is needed.

Thanks guys,

Justin

I'm thinking that anymore negative camber could have adverse due to the extra in corner caster of the SH front suspension.

Sorry, I know this is a little late, but I don't check the site much anymore....

What are your uses for the car? track, weekend autocrosser, daily driver... what kind of tires are you using? street tires, R-compounds?

All of the above items will effect the amount of camber/toe that you are going to want, and truthfully the optimal setting varies from track to track and course to course. And the only information that matters at the end of the day is the timer!

However, I can tell you that most of us have had success racing with around 2.5-3 degrees of negative camber on the front of the car. The rear really varies based on tire size relative to the front, amount of toe out, and tire pressure. All of the above is for a racing setup, if you are daily drive the car you will probably want less of everything because you need to compromise for streetability.

I have a Type SH. I'm running 245/40R17 street tires (bridgestone 760 sport) on a 17x8 all four corners, toe settings are 1.8mm Toe out front and 1.5mm toe out rear. Tire pressures are 29 cold front and 32 cold rear with ride height 1.75 front 1.5 rear with spring rates of 600lbs/in front and 700lbs/in rear with the Progress 27mm rear sway bar on the stiffest setting. Current use for the car is my daily driver/weekend racer. I hope that helps. Thank you very much for the response too.
