autocrossing my Solara!

Just thought I'd share. this will be the first time I've autocrossed my Solara!

When I show up, Do I first have to ride with the instructor a couple times? Or whats the layout for beginners?

make sure you raise your hand in the drivers meeting when they ask about n0obs.

If you've never been to an autox, going out alone is a sure recipe for disaster, not to mention the embarrassment from getting lost on course. I'm not sure how courses are laid out in your area, but around here, they use as few cones as humanly possible, so the course can be VERY hard to see, especially at speed.

One of the things they did in our region this season is to allow ride-alongs, and is especially encouraged for novices. Typically though, if a novice goes off-course or DNF's twice, then a veteran autocrosser is usually paired up with them to help them navigate the course.
