4th gen wins East Coast Honda Challenge H3?!

I was checking out the new ECHC site, which is very nice BTW, and this was on the front page. A little pic of the 2005 class winners. And one of them is a Prelude!!

Congrats to Adam Spingler!

Corey, you should convice Adam to join the site.

PS... check out the new ECHC site. http://honda-challenge.com/hc/ It looks pretty kick-ass. Lets hope they keep up with the race recaps!!

There were ~3 Preludes in the Top 15 in EP for the SCCA run-offs.
Too bad they all got taken out in the melee that is Turns 4-5.

Unfortunately, his yellow prelude is no more....he rolled it & totalled it at Summit Point (Turn 9) back in September...however, he (Curpier Motorsport - http://www.curpiermotorsport.com/cms/ ) built a whole new 4th gen prelude race-car in just 10 days & were able to take it back to Summit Point for the final race in October....

Adam is a good driver & his car is bad-ass as well...It is a H23, but he has a nice Equal-Length custom Hy-tech header (they had to notch the crossmember & relocate the front engine mount to make it fit ) & Hondata S200 for tuning...It's quick (not H22 H2 class quick), but it can turn some decent laps... Right before he totaled it - he installed a Kazz LSD & 4.7 FD...For suspension, he's running the bling-bling Koni 3000 series Double Adjustables set-up...His best lap at Summit Point was a high 1:27 (without LSD & FD) & with the LSD & FD, should be even better this season

WAS? WAS? This beast still is!!!!!! Pin the throttle and hold on! Now, would someone please buy it! It could easily win H1 Championship if someone would put some more effort into it. I just can't do it without a garage/shop to work with.

For reference
H1 Record at Summit Point is 1:22.6 in a civic with 2x the money of my car..
My lap record was a 1:22.9 While I was pushing a S2K down the front straight, haha!

My H2 lap record was a 1:25.8 I think..

H3 lap by Adam was a 1:27.6 I think..

Preludes are freaking fast, just no-one knows about them!
