Good luck to Jason, Drew, and Zack this coming week at the Solo Nationals. Bring home some wood!

I don't see Drew's name in the results for AS. Is he driving in another class?
I believe so, but I can't remember what class.
With Jason...that's awesome! Gonna text him right now...
Edit: Doh...his number isn't on my phone anymore. Oh wells, hope he's celebrating at good 'ol BD's!

I ran STU and sucked this year - the car we were running wasn't really prepped at all(bone stock except a couple swaybars and camber bolts in the front), but still the car owner got to one from the trophies. I was a bit off my game this year.
Congrats again Jason, I wish it was your 2nd title, but well deserved all the same, hope you made it home ok...I was not feeling well this morning when I got up to leave
Zack brought home some wood finishing in 6th in FP, really drove well both days, congrats dude!
Thanks guys!!!! Trip home went good, no problems. I was a little under the weather so we didn't leave until just after noon, so didn't get home until just after midnight.
I wish it was #2, just going to have to get #2 next year.
Huge props to Jason and Craig (his tire warmer) for their 1&3 trophy finish.
Good job on getting some wood yourself!

Based on your videos, it looks like I need to drive a lot harder, since my Bridgestones don't howl like yours! Then again, I can't hear anything with the loud exhaust.
On a side note, I saw some weights posted up and it seems like Andy Hollis' car was 1969 lb, which is about 50-ish less than most everyone else. How can that be possible?
We do not have an exhaust on the car, just a 2.5" straight pipe to behind the driver, it's pretty loud outside the car.
Hollis was 1969, we came in at 2017. So between our car and our weights (we're both over 225) his setup was over 125 lbs lighter than us. I was able to find about 35 lbs. of the difference, so I think he's close (and legal).
He has his front rotors swiss-cheesed, doesn't run belts, was running lightest wheels/tire setup, littler Hytech header, lighter swaybar setup, smaller battery (dangerous small), lighter alternater and crank pullies... lots of little things that add up. The only thing I wasn't sure about was what seemed to be an aluminum radiator (OEM replacement). That wasn't included in the 35lbs I found.
IIRC: Andy did manage to frag the predecessor to that battery, along with the alternator and the ECU sometime before nats. SO the dangerously small part is right on.
Congratulations on your victory Jason. It must be pretty sweet to be able to say that you are basically the best STS driver in the country. Really quite the acomplishment IMO. Congrats again man.
