2006 NASA TX Schedule

Just got this email and notice the MSR Houston events


Good afternoon NASA TX Racers and Race Fans,

Well you asked for more NASA TX events dates and you got them. Below is our schedule for 2006.

Feb 11/12 - MSR Houston
March 11/12 - MSR Cresson
April 22/23 - MSR Cresson
May 20/21 - MSR Houston
June 17/18 - Hallett OK
August 5/6 - TWS College Station
September 9/10 - MSR Houston

For Oct / Nov - We have not yet determined which of the following dates we will actually hold our event on (still tentative)
Oct 21/22 - TWS College Station or
Nov 4/5 MSR Cresson

Actually it did snow in Houston one day last winter. First time in something like 15 years....

They just finished MSR Houston and MSR in Cresson is paving the second track this week

It looks like it will be brutal on the outside tires of whatever direction it is being run.

True, but there are some turns that will be hard on the inside tires too, like the long sweeping turn in the middle.

I was just thinking the same thing! I was also thinking to myself where are the big concrete walls, the big trees, and guardrails to keep you from going over a side of a hill? Looks like the only thing to hit is each other? :P ....and large elevation changes with completely blind apexes? I would not know what to do Actually I would love to have a track like that around here.

Jeesh your NASA is on the ball. I will not have a 2006 schedule till 2006.

If it snows just plow it and race anyway… that’s what we do:


5inch of snow over night

get that F'n snow off the race track

ok... now don't go off.....

The distance between Austin, TX and Angleton, TX is 158.0 miles(255.0 km) .
