Window Scratches.

Other day I was trying to fix the water pump, so I kept on turning on and off the Spray, and when it tries to spary the wipers move. Well they were moving on dry surface so the rubber on the wipers pealed out, so there was still rubber under it. It created a round scratch on the glass. I can't even feel it with my fingers/nail.

Its really small, only noticable are certain angles with the right amount of light.

it sill bugs me, is there any way I can remove it?!?!??!?!??!?!

Water, soap, alchol swap did not help at all.

anyone have any suggestions?

Id like to know as well because it gets annoying when it rains and the minor scratches make it harder to see. I hope there's a solution for this.

There are products that fill scratches in glass. It is kinda like an epoxy and dries clear. I'm not sure if you have to wet sand after it dries or not as I haven't used anything like this myself. Check your local auto parts store.

its too small to really "fill" it in. I can't even feel it dip with my nail/finger as if there is nothing there.

Whats a clay bar? pardon the newbiness...

A clay bar is a product that's used to remove contaminants like industrial fallout, railroad dust, tree sap, etc from the surface of your car. If you run your finger along your car and the surface feels like sandpaper, and no matter how many times you wash the car the feeling never goes away, it's because there are tiny sediments that are on the surface. A clay bar, when used properly, will remove most of those contaminents to prep the surface for polishing or waxing.

I had real tiny wiper scratches all over my windscreen that could only be seen in certain angles. I washed it clean, used a clay bar, used a little wax and buffed it out. It looked great after

It depends on how deep these rock chips are. If you can feel it with your nails I'd prolly recommend you check out some sort of epoxy glass filler - personally I have not tried anything like that. If it's not that deep some wax and buffing should take care of it.
