I like the gold class wipes. Doesn't leave an un-natural shine, just a nice clean dash. I like the smell too.

And I've heard the same thing about armor all.

I use dry static-charged wipes to dust my interior, and Meguires 40 when it needs a good cleaning.

I use a 100% cotton towel and vinylx. I don't dust it.

Armor-all for your tires also works wonders on your interior.

Yeah, it'll make it a wonderfully brown color. 2 cars ago in my RX-7 the interior faded really quickly. Armor all would brighten it up, but I had to apply it more and more frequently. Finally someone told me it was the armor all that was causing it to fade. He mentioned something about silicates in the armor all causing the interior to break down, and the same thing causing my tires to brown. It was nasty. I avoid it like the plague now.

Are you serious?

I've personally never had that problem with it.

Maybe because you use it frequently enough to not notice? But yeah, I'm very serious. it did an ugly number on my interior apparently. It was the only thing I was using at the time, so there really wasn't a question of "what did it."

Swiffer wipes work great to get the dust off your dash and vinyl interior parts. Meguiars professional vinyl protectant works well for shining them up after you've dusted it.

silicones in armor-all is what causes the negative effects it gives to plastic trims. DONT USE ARMOR-ALL! like joe, i use swiffer for dusting. i use 303 aerospace protectant for protection/cleaning. I only have to apply that stuff 2 times a year

works like magic... gives a very clean, but not "oily" surface and it lasts forever.

I agree about Armor All... my dad used to use it on his BMW because he just didnt know better and it destroyed the dash.

I use the a few things depending on how much dust there is. The little california duster is good for the dash but doesn't get all the little stuff. The swifer (or whatever brand) things work well (it doesn't float over to a new location =) and the meguiars vinyl protectant.

Armor All has formyldahyde (that how you spell it??) in it and it will cause plastic/vinyl to dry, crack and discolor. I'd avoid it... and it smells horrible.

I use 3M Refresh to clean the interior. It works well on vinyl but even better on leather - seems to do very well to keep these surfaces from drying out. It also leaves no shine.

To remove minor dust and lint, I use a dry swiffer just as Steve mentioned. I always keep one in the center console and wipe the dash and door panels every couple days.

I love my Zymöl. Personally I don't like my dash to look greasy or shinny and this thing produces just what I want. It leaves a great satin sheen making the dash look so natural. To clean I just use damp towels. Haha..

Just picked up some Aerospace 303, it looks pretty good on the dash, maybe a bit too shiny.

We'll see how well it wears...
