Waxing problem someone pls. - Honda Prelude Forum

Ok so im having an issue i just waxed my gf's 1999 Maxima it rained for 2 days straight after i did it

thats not the problem though.

The car has these white spots now it looks like dried up wax but i used the same wax on my civic and didn't get the white spots.

Im using meguiars gold class wax.

The front bumper of the maxima looks like its been sand blasted

what could of caused this im thinking about taking the car to a professional cleaner to see if he can do anything about it.

Are you sure that the spots were there after you waxed? Did you feel/touch the surface before your waxed and was it absolutely as smooth as glass?

Got a picture by any chance? Are the spots big or small? Was the car real dirty beforehand? Is it black? Sometimes I stand back to look at my car after a nice wash and wax and think "damn, I had no idea I had so many stone chips in my paint".

^^ I doubt rock chips are his problem cuz he says the whole bumper looks like it's sandblasted. I could possibly be trapped dirt under the wax??? By any chance did you use a paint cleaner/clay bar before waxing? The wax may be showing up all the brake dust, dirt, etc...
