Waxing carbon fiber hood

I have a VIS CF hood, is it okay to wax it?

Most people seem to say "waxing" is okay. I use the Meguiar's 3 step on my car though, and considering only step 3 is the actual wax... is it okay to apply all 3 steps to my CF hood?
