Hey all, I need some help with this: I was in a wreck about 2 months ago and got a new front bumper and hood,it has been about a month and a half since I got the car back and I was wondering if it would be ok to wax it by hand now! Just a light coat. All of this acid rain has made my car look like crap!!!! And I wanna wax it what do you think?

month and a half? im pretty sure u can start doing whatever u want now. if u want to be sure, ask the shop that painted ur bumper.

You would be better if you asked the shop, they didn't tell you when you got them how long to wait ? Usually it is a couple of months since the factory bumpers and hoods are painted at diferent temps than those done at outside shops so the factory ones are ready when they are shipped out of the factory. I would call the shop to be sure, I would also wait a little longer than what they say just to be careful.
