Water Spots from Washing

I was wondering if intentionally leaving water spots (ie not drying) on my lude will actually damage the clear coat? Sometimes I wanna wash my car real quick just to get it looking decent, and since it's nordic mist it won't show that much.

Yes... water spots allow mineral deposits to form on the surface and eat away at your clearcoat.

It takes an extra 5 minutes to wipe the car down with a shammy.

Plus depending on the pH level of the water, it could cause worse damage.

Over a long period of time, I'm sure it will deteriorate.

Cars paint jobs last for MANY years if properly maintained.

How many people do you know that go dry their car off after every rain storm? Not many probably.

Yes it's ok, but for best protection, get the water off for the love of the paint job.

If you dry your car off after a rainstorm, you're rubbing dirt all over your paint.
