Water spots on glass question

Ok guys - I've read every post I can find about water spots on the glass. I've tried most every solution suggested including the following;
clay bar
steel wool and windex/amonia etc
Bam! (soap scum remover)
Hard water remover
Goop Off (removes glue etc)
Razor blade with a clay bar lube

Still I have water spots. You can't feel the spots when you run your fingers across the glass. I have included pics of the problem.

not to be sarcastic or anything but windex works? If not try rubbing alcohol.

I get water spots on my windows like that when I wash the car during the day and its hot outside. If you wash it when its cool, maybe its the inside of the window. Do you have tint? The windows might not have been cleaned well enough when the put the tint on, or something along those lines. Not too sure what else it could be, you tried everything I would have told you to try already.

lol it's actually etched into the glass a little bit, acid rain/hard dirty water is horrible at it.
I buffed all of my glass with a red pad and uh, hard 3m compound (forget the #) worked like a charm.

Thanks for the replys. I never never wash my car in the sun. THe tint is factory glass and was on the car when I purchased it from the dealer. I think the suggestion that the spots have etched into the glass must be correct - thanks ludehawk. Guess I'll have to get a buffer and some 3m compound and give that a try. Another suggestion I've had was to consult a local auto glass company to see what they suggest (posted elsewhere). Think I'll try the buffer first because I love taking care of my own if I can!

Well here is an update. I washed the lude this evening and tried one of the suggestions I had in an earlier thread. It was suggested I try a hard water remover something like a lime deposit remover/cleaner. I picked up some Lime Away a few days ago and so after the wash I tried it on the glass. No change. So I guess the next step is to get a cheap buffer and some compound. I'll try this and let you know.

The spots are on the outside of the windows. Your tint is on the inside. You can still do something about the spots.
