Storing Clay Bar

So how do you store your clay bar? Do I have to worry about the clay drying out or am I good to just leave it in a small plastic bag or even without a bag?

Cut it into thirds in the origonal package and use saran wrap to keep the ends sealed. Otherwise I haven't found a way to keep it moist. You should be able to do the whole car with 1/3 a bar.... that means 3 applications

I just leave it in a Ziplock bag, and let all the air out.

I wrap it in waxed paper (Reynolds Wrap) and seal it in a zip lock baggie. The waxed paper keeps it from sticking to the plastic (and it will).

I keep it in a baggie with the air pushed out too. Been in my garage for over a year, including winter, and it has never been dried out or unusable (Clay Magic).

ziplock .. I got a tiny one .. didnt think about it sticking to the bag though .. doh

I used the whole thing, I just keep folding it when it gets a bit dark, I wash the claybar as I clay I wipe it off often as well ..

first time I used it I was suprised how many times you need to go over the surface to really get the debris off ..
