my friend bought an s2k from a cop ( ) and there is a clear, plastic law enforcement sticker on the trunklid that will not die.
we have tried:
goo gone
spray and wash
gum remover
graffitti remover
all to no avail. my friend also said he tried a blowdrier, but i dunno how good of a job he did. so far we have about 1/5 of the sticker removed, around the edges, by chipping with fingernails, but this isn't cutting it.
to take the SH and VTEC stickers off my car, i used a round "eraser" made for taking stickers off vehicle's without damaging the finish. it has a 1/4" bit to fit in the drill, you just work off the sticker, and wipe the eraser dust off, and maybe rewax that little section, worked like a champ and i got it at the local auto store

haha, if you attatch that eraser to a drill, the reason why its coming off is due to the heat it generates. you can generate heat fine with blowdryer...heat gun would be overkill. those can really jack your paint.

yep this is called a pinstripe wheel.. it works great.. just take ur car to any local body shop and they can get that off inlike 5 minutes.. i took my pinstriping off my 4 gen lude off in like 2 min with this thing..
I work at a detail shop and we deal with this all the time. You need a heat gun a carefully heat up the area. Not too much or you could bubble the paint. Then carefully scrape it off with a plastic edge. Then clean the remaining glue with lacquer or goo gone would prob work.
