here's what i would do...

1. Meguiar's #62 shampoo/conditioner
2. Meguiar's Clay
3. Meguiar's Premium Paint Cleaner
4. Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze
5-15. Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze
16. Meguiar's Premium Paint protect

that's just the exterior stuff, and I won't bother naming all the little chemicals...see the link in my sig for what the end result looks like

and re: buffer, you need a porter cable 7242 (or 7424, whatever) or 7336

oh yeah if you want a deal on the porter cable

lowes has the 7242(whatever) for 109+tax

go to a detailer supply house (call up meguiar's for what they recommend if you can't find one) and pick up all the pads there

the meguiar's is just a rebadged porter cable (hell it's not even rebadged, they say it's a pc) you're just paying 100 over for a lifetime warranty

I went to Lowes in Torrance and they did not carry the 7424 or any other RO polisher like it, so I asked if they could special order it and they checked their list and said they could, but it would be $206. What's up with that? Where can I find one for $109?

coastal tools has the 7424 for 119+shipping; its still not bad since they include the velcro pad and the heavier counterweight.

Paint Cleaner cleans and preps your paint before polishing and waxing, removes contaminants, or even fine scratches.

Premium Paint Protectant is on the Meguiars professional group of waxes..........For me, its the best wax out there besides Meguiars gold class. It basically protects your cars finish from the elements while giving you the most reflective shine out there.
Works even better on darker colored cars...
