Painting
So Im pretty sure this is the right place to ask this, how hard is it really to paint a car. I mean obviously it involves a certain degree of skill and most importantly the right equipment setup and place to do it. But Ive heard before that the prep and finish is what really makes a paint job look amazing. What would be needed to try and acomplish it on my own? My mechaninc would let me use a bay that is totally closed off from the rest of his shop so finding a place really isnt a problem? Any tips or better yet cautions would be great. Thanks.
