Overspray Removal

I have some overspray on my front bumper on the middle plastic section (part that isn't painted) on my 5th gen. I've tried nail polish remover and that didn't help. What else can I try/do to get rid of it.

Thanks for advice!

I've tried Goo Gone when I got overspray on my windows, and it worked very well.

Use a clay bar to remove overspray.

I haven't tried it, but I don't think there'll be any problems. Just watch out for rubber moldings though.

Clay bar + a lot of clay lube should work fine

Just a precaution about using lots of clay lube - if you find yourself not removing anything, then ease up on the lube

heh, yeah. the only reason I said that is because clay is pretty difficult to use on unpainted plastic because of the friction, hence the lube. But yeah, too much isn't gonna help either .

Ah I didn't mean to direct it to you, just a friendly reminder for whoever goes in that direction. But yes, you're right about the plastic~

i used diluted mineral spirit and some turtlewax polishing compound. buffed it out. sprayed and soaped and wiped clean. worked well for me, been 2 years now.

but yea it's a little dangerous on ur paint.
