opened up a businazz

me and my buddy opened up our own car wash/detail business in his backyard. lol im not getting paid enough at my day job. but what we're doing is offering:

regular wash : wash with meguiars gold class shampoo conditioner, vacuum inside, dust/wipe all interior. windows inside/out. tire shine. $20.

add liquid wax 35. (includes polish before wax)
add carnauba paste wax 40. (includes polish before wax)
add 15 if paint requires cleaning. swirl removal available.
headlamp restoration also available if required.

note : all wax is applied by hand; no applicators no buffers. nothing touches the car or rims but microfiber and meguiars products.

its me and two other guys in on this. we just threw in and bought all the products (quick trip to costco). its been a little less than a week and we've already done about 10 cars. bout two per day.. not too bad for a first week but everyone we've done has been very very satisfied with the results. we did my neighbors black s550 amg and he gave us a 100 bucks because he was so happy with how mirrored his hood looked. what do you guys think of my pricing? is it too much? too little? funny thing i've had all this stuff and haven't done my car yet. i'm gonna do the prelude today and post pics up tomorrow morning so you guys can see our work.

Prices are pretty cheap compared to someone actually haing a shop. You have no overhead other than your product so it's not too bad. If you decide to go biggger and have a shop you will need to up your prices to cover rent, product and pay. There are amny other factors but those are your three basics.
