Mother's Powerball...

Does anyone have any before and after pics of the results? I hear from people that its easier and it looks 10x better then hand polish.

^my brother has one.

doesn't really work on my rims and since i use performance pads, LOTS OF DUST

it gets dirty really easy. i guess on bigger spoked rims like yours it might help, and if you washed your car regularly (i.e every week) to keep dirtyness to a minimal

there is no way that thing is better than my own hands actually cleaning / polishing the rim. i mean it works good if you use it correctly and saves time, but it just doesn't for me

Just use Meguair's Hot Rims and a wheel brush and they will come out looking brand new with every wash.

yeah, all I need to leave my rims clean is Meguiar's hot rims and my own hands.

The better you keep up with your rims, the easier it'll be to clean your rims. Don't forget to always wash and wax your rims!

Can you just use any type of car wax on the rims?

If they are painted yes but if they are chrome it's best to use a chrome polish. I use the same wax as I use on the rest of the car. Usually do the rims about once a month.

On the powerball note a buddy of mine uses it and loves it. Says it cuts his rim detailing time down about 75%. He does have chrome rims tho.

Actually those rims are my rims that I have in the garage collecting dust...I now have Volk GT-U's. Its not hard for me to polish those by hand but I was just wondering. I see a lot of people using it on their HRE's and those whores look damn nice....

I like using this on the wheels to protect them.
