MEGUIARS SWIRL REMOVER 2.0 & NXT TECH WAX (LETHAL COMBO!) - REVIEW with PICS...

I know someone already posted about this product but I wish to do my own with detailed reviews and detailed before and after photos as well.

I have heard all the raves, the rumors about this product and decided to try it and take pictures along the way to see if this product actually performs.......
Product URL - http://www.meguiars.com/whatsnew/techwax.cfm

It's also perfect timing since I have a car show to go to as well which is HIN (Hotimport Nights in Seattle)......So a full detail of my car was necessary.

Also I left my car unwashed and undusted for a week with no prior waxing since last summer, and I left my car out for a night when it rained.....Here is a picture of my Nighthawk Black Perl lude. As you can see, water spots, pollen, dust are all over the car.
(***To view Images at a bigger size, add .orig.jpg***)

I performed a 4 step process....
1st - WASH

2nd Step - CLAY BAR

3rd Step Meguiars Swirl Remover 2.0 - Also an amazing product, as you can see on the picture below. NOTE: These results were applied by a buffer and buffed with a buffer as well. I tried applying the product on the fenders and buffing it off by hand, ughhhh! WHAT A MISERY! I did not get the result a perfectionist desires! (WISH I TOOK A PIC OF THAT)

BUT WALLAH! These reults are from a buffer!

4th step - YES - MEGUIARS NXT TECH WAX!

- This product lives up to it's expectations, EXTREMELY EASY to apply and wipe off! The wax is very reflective and without the problem of dusting (Dust Residue) like the Gold Class Wax.
My car is black and as you can see,

- The product also raves about hiding hairline scratches, I did not really notice this since I applied and used Siwrl Remover 2.0 Prior to Waxing.

- But I recommend this product to any car enthusiast or anyone who just wants a simple practical wax yet will provide them with professional results without the pain of killing their arms from buffing! This is yet the best wax I have used so far!

Clean, I might have to try that wax. I have a detailer guy, but I sometimes wash and wax my own car.

I agree, I say without the proper preparation before waxing, I would not been able to achieve such results!

There are miracle products, and there are products that do more than just miracles. It's only because of a great surface to work on .

Im definitely going to get this wax
but first I need a buffer and pads

Im tired of the Gold Class attracting dust like crazy
Ill finish waxing....go inside to eat and relax for about 1/2 hr...come back out and car has dust on it like crazy

Yea Meguiar's Gold Class Wax is notoriously known for dusting. It could help to put on very thin layers though, but I don't know by how much it would help.

You don't really need a machine to apply wax IMO. Personally I find it easier to do it by hand. With the buffer you'll apply the wax more evenly, but it seems to be more time consuming.

Yes swirl remover is best applied with a machine.

Is it better to use an orbital buffer or a rotary buffer for swirl remover and polish?

you would be best with a DA buffer. Using a rotary buffer without enough knoowledge can cause you to burn your paint.

Just FYI, "DA" stands for "Dual Action." Ideally, IMO you'd want to get a Random Orbital Dual Action buffer.

I was playing around last night on my hood. There was already NXT on the car so I clayed half of the hood, applied #3 glaze and NXT with the Porter Cable w/gray pad. Then I followed up with S100 and the results are pretty darn nice! I think the NXT does a better job of hiding imperfections when it is applied with the PC. I drove out into the sunlight this morning and the S100 over NXT is so purdy and smooth!
