Meguiars ColorX

http://www.meguiars.com/?liquid-car-waxes/COLORx

I just bought a bottle of this stuff to try and to my surprise it works like a champ!

Took out some pretty bad scratches i had on both my car and my gf's car.

Wish i took some before and afters. Our dog loves to put his paws up on her door. So after one coat and buffed by hand, it took out 90% of the scratches

Anyone else have experience with this stuff?

Will this work on faded paint? My trunk seems to be fading and I was looking for something that would make it look darker.

Yep - it should work. Using a paint cleaner before hand would work better probably.

What's a good paint cleaner? Isn't the ColorX a cleaner/wax combined?

Yes ColorX is a cleaner/wax. If you want the best results possible you should Wash, Clay, and then apply ColorX.

Yea it's a combo type of product - nothing bad or anything. Any of the OTC Meguiar's or Mother's products that says "paint cleaner" are great for the car.

use meguiar's scratch-x followed by your choice of wax for a better finish. Scratch-x is the best abrasive polish that can be applied by hand. Go to meguiarsonline for a good diy on how to use it correctly.
