Meguiars 3 Step Success Story...with pics...

I did the 3 step to my car in early August this summer cause I had neglected my car for the previous 2 years I owned it (washed a lot, but rarely waxed) So that day, I spent atleast 8 hours detailing it. Process:

Wash & Dry
Step 1 Meguiars Paint Cleaner
Step 2 Meguiars Polish
Step 3 Meguiars Carnuba Wax

Scrubbed Wheels and Shined Tires
Polished Exhaust Tips
Waxed Headlights
Dusted Interior
Vacuumed Interior
Shampoed Interior
Shined Interior

Anyway, before this, my car was hazy, the red was dull and pinkish in many areas. There were swirl marks everywhere. The paint was bumpy and sticky if you ran your hand over it.

After it, the paint was like glass...it was shiney as hell, smooth as a babies ass, the red was so deep and beautiful, no pink. Swirl marks were drastically reduced...my car looked better than the day I bought it.

I was tired as hell from working 8 hours on my cars appearance, but it was worth it cause I fell back in love with my car!! Here are some after pics:NOPRUNE

That's gonna be the process for me this weekend on my red one. Any thoughts about 3M's swirl remover?

You can use the 3-step by hand or by buffer. Most people I know and read read about use it by hand though.
