How to remove bug splatter?

Do you guys have any recommendations on how to remove caked on bug splatter?? Do they have any sprays or removers that are safe for the paint?? OR do you recommend good old fashioned scrubbing? I tried washing with a brush already and could not remove all of the splatter. Thanks

Is the Citrus Cleaner and Goo Gone bad for the paint? I always thought that citris was bad for the finish?

I'm using insect remover from Sonax. It's mild mixture so it's easy on the paint work.
But if you want a chemical-free solution - leave your car outside through the night and wait for morning dew to soak up the bugs. Then you can just wipe them with a wet cloth

Try to remove it regularly. Baking them on the sun will just burn them in.

I purchased the Sonus ultra-fine detailing clay for my front bumper precisely for bugs.. clay baring should only be done once maybe 2 times a year so I got the fine clay so as not to overclay.. also convenient that it won't strip the wax... it's $13 or something from autotopia

As long as it doesn't sit on the paint, it's fine. I've used Simple Green with no problems at all.
