I spray-painted my window trim a while back, and I didn't use enough newspaper to absorb all the overspray. I ended up with little patches of black all over my rear window, and the only thing that worked for me was Goo Gone .

heres what I did:

since my quick detailer was frozen
I used Invisible Glass as the lube for the Claybar
and I got it off after much rubbing
works great

I was recommended 600 grit steel wool from my body shop. Works great but obviously only use it on the glass. Just get it a little wet and it comes right off with very little effort

Just take a razor blade and scrape it off... you can't harm the glass....

Stay away from rubber molding though.

ur correct, only use a razor blade, u donot want to use steel wool because the shavings from steel wool will etch into ur paint and cause little rust spots. and thiner is to much of a risk, if u drop some on that fresh paint youll run the chance of messing it up

As long as you wash your car right after you use the steel wool, wouldn't it be fine?
