i've used it a lot in the past. Results can be excellent, but their waxes are not easy to apply. Cool temps, no direct sunlight are a must. It also takes a few tries to figure out how soon to remove the wax. Zymol is pretty sensitive to the amount of time its left on the paint.

its also tough to find - most stores only carry the cleaner wax.

Bottom line: It is an EXCELLENT wax but don't use it unless you have the time and patience to apply it just right.

^^^
I've seen complete car care kits for sale in the back of Road & Track - cleaner, polish, applicator pads, towels, and Zymol's special "Carbon" wax. VERY expensive stuff.

Hehe you can say that again. For the price you pay, there's a lot better products out on the market that perform better than Zymol.

Zymol makes some good products, but if you have prepped the surface well enough, you won't really get your money's worth in results from the wax alone. You can get amazing results with a $15 wax like S100 if you've done the prep work.

I would break down the aesthetics of detailing as:
75% Polish/Clay/Shampoo (gives you the smoothness and shine)
10% Glaze (adds depth and masks minor swirls)
15% Wax (some waxes add more depth and can increase the shine/reflectivity of the surface)

Most people think that wax is what makes a show car, but the wax is mainly there for protection and is just icing on the cake.

I guess what I'm trying to say is save your money and buy more cost-efficient products

i've used zymol stuff for a long time, during those days when the only thing i polish and wax are my 1:18 models. Their wax are actually not that expensive, you can sometimes even get it from costco in a package. They smell good though.

I've used zymol under the sun, I don't think it makes much difference, its just a little hard on yourself that it's really hot. I tried not to get the wax or the applicator wet, it's a PITA to get off the wax if it got wet. Or else, it cleans off pretty easily.

I'm now testing on Eagle One Nano Wax and NuFinish, I washed my car after 1 week and seems like nanoWax is holding up better.
