If you have a can of compressed air lying around, turn it upside down and spray the gum. It'll freeze the gum and use a scraper, spoon, spatula, etc to remove it. Use Goo Gone or other cleaners to remove any residue. Just remember to remove all parts of the gum completely because once the little gum particles defrost, it'll become even stickier.

You could also use ice, http://www.topoftheline.com/chewgumrem.html, peanut butter, http://www.chewing-gum-removal.com/.
