umm... never seen it in my life. what does it do exactly? is it just a mist on wipe off surface cleaner for ur paint? if so, Meguiars quick detailer does the same thing and imo, the quick detailer is the probably the best product they have along side with the clay bar... heck they r even sold together. seriously, everyone should have a bottle of quick detailer.

its a cleaner in an aerasol can. you spray it on your car and wipe with a towel. it was something i saw on tv a long time ago, a news company was testing it out to see if it worked and it did.
so is the quick detailer something i could use on a dirty car without scratching the paint?

yea, definitley. it cleans the surface and removed deep contaminants that washing sometimes cant even get out. obviously any car care product wont scratch the paint. of course, i dont recommend u use it in place of washing. if the cars really dirty, u should wash it the normal way with water and soap. but the quick detailer spray is good for little clean ups... say a week or two after u wash your car and u want it to look as if u just washed it again, then using it then would be a good idea. but if u havent washed for over a month and theres bugs and water stains and dust and crap on ur car, then obviously u shoudl wash it with water.
u can also use the quick detailer AFTER a normal wash because sometimes when u wash, u can still feel rough contaminants deep in the paint that it didnt get off. using quick detailer right after a wash is a real good idea to make the paint really smooth and perfect again. not as smooth as if u clay bared though, but takes alot less time.
i found the product online for $40? im not sure if its the one i saw on tv. the reason i want something like this is say its a hot day and i havent washed my car in a month and a bird poops on my car i can spray this stuff on my car and not worry about scratching the paint even with all the dirt on my car.

yea, u can do the same with quick detailer; helps remove bird poop and other contaminants. only rouhgly $5 in practically any store. plus it smells really really good i got addicted to it and almost drank it
I recommend using the meguairs Quick Detailer, it works better than those other things you guys are talking about, I found it actually didn't do Sh&t for a couple of my other cars. USE QUICK DETAILER!!!!
It depends on how crazy you are about clearcoat scratches.
Quick detailer products, wet or dry, WILL scratch your clearcoat if there is debris on the surface. This is a fact of life. If there is debris, you wipe it off with a towel and you are liable to drag it across the surface. Hence the value of doing a wash with water and soap, using a very soft absorbant mitt (I use one of those furry kinds) and changing/rinsing the surface often.
Once the car has been washed you can usually do whatever you want - clay, wax, quick detailer, dry surface cleaner, etc., without much worry.

True but if you are like me my car is always clean due to the fact that I can't stand for it to be dirty and it is a black lude so...
