Carecraft paint sealant

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Carecraft paint sealant. This sealant is supposed to keep the surface shiny without waxing. But I have noticed that there are some swirls on my car. So I just wanted to know if it would be safe to apply wax on top of the sealant. Thanks

Daniel

Sealents and waxes are based on the same principle - to protect the car. People generally wax on top of sealents to prolong the long-term protective nature of sealents. Sealents and/or waxes can hide swirls, but very few have any polishing qualities that can level down the swirls. I haven't heard of nor used Carecraft so I don't know what to tell you. Try it out and tell us

This sealant was part of a Carecraft paint and interior protection package (I think it was $600) that was added on when I purchased my car from the dealership. I've searched around and no one has had any experiences with this Carecraft sealant. They did give me a bottle of "finish cleaner" that I'm supposed to use once a year to preserve the shine. It has done its job really well for the last 3.5 years. Since I'm running out of this finish cleaner, I'm curious to try out some of the other detailing products. I think i'm going to need to clay bar most of the car (esp. the rear bumper) and then try out Meguiar's NXT tech wax. Sound like a good plan?
