Care for Teins?

How often should they get a scrubbing? I have a spray on corrosion inhibitor (a wax like coating) on them now, what do you all use to keep them in good shape between washes?

Well the most informative source would be to contact Tein themselves about what you can do to take good care of them. I would do that first. For all I know, the corrosion inhibitor could actually damage the coilovers.

I've had my struts for roughly a year now and albeit I live in sunny Southern California, they hardly get roughed up. At most they get some dirt on the. If I were to clean them it'd have to be an annual thing where I'd clean the wheelwells as well. Since you're in MD and dealing with a lot more different elements, I would do it pre-snow season and post-snow season.

I live on the east coast and mine are a mess. I'd be shocked if they lasted two more years before the shock bodies rusted through. My advice is one you see the paint isn't holding up anymore to take them out, prep them, and paint them again yourself.
