California Water blade

I love this product. I looks like a wiper blade, but it is made out of silicone so it doesn't scratch or leace streaks! It cuts drying time drastically. After going over the car with the wiper, then I use the chamois to touch up. About $20 bucks at any auto store.

i know alot of people who like this product too. just a little tip on using it though... make sure your car is absolutley clean of debris and dirt after you have finished washing your car. obviously anything left on it can lead to scratching as you drag the particles across your paint. a good way to prevent any kind of scratching is to keep a clean towel in the other hand and wipe the blade clean after every stroke.

That's why I only use it on my windows. Unless you wash your car in a down draft booth, dust and stuff in the air can get on the car.
I work in a stone fabrication shop, and was able (accidently) to scratch stone with a Water Blade. And stone is a lot harder to scratch than car paint.

I bought that California water blade and took it back the next day. I'll take a chamois over that piece of junk any day. It didnt work very well, maybe if my car was a square box, it might work good then
Maybe I was using it wrong or something, but I find it a lot faster to use a chamois and I can't stand the sound of plastic squeaking across my paint.

I used my ex's once and i loved it.. you do have to have a dry towel in the other hand. It's good to take the majority of the water off and then the rest you can use a chamois.
