Bug and Tar Remover... suggestions?

They are once again resealing all the main streets downtown.. and now my hood is covered in theses little tiny black dots of tar. Not to mention its around 95 degrees down here.. so those things just bake right on.

I have tried using a Gel Based Bug/Tar remover... but it nearly takes about an hour for it to penetrate the stain good enough to remove it in one wipe.

So any recommendations on either how to get rid of these tar drops... or which Bug/tar remover that works FAST.... I have estimated about 90 of these tar drops all over the front of the car.

High pressure water... I think these tar drops were laughing at me.

I've used this stuff and it works well on tar.

Amazon.com: 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover, 32 oz Can: Automotive

I have a smaller container of it though, you can probably find it at some auto supply stores.

They have special sponges that wipe bugs and tar real good without scratching your paint. I was wary of them at first but they work good for me so far. I bought a 3 pack for .99 at the .99 store. Just don't rub too hard.

Stoners Tarminator and Chemical Guys Bug Bugger & Tar Remover work great. For really caked on tar you need to let it sit for a couple of minutes. I would be very careful about using stronger chemicals as they are pretty much acid and can eat at your clear coat. All of the products I know of take a little time for them to work. Nothing I know of is spray on wipe off.

is using high pressure water directly on these little tarballs bad for the clearcoat?

.... it feels almost like a sand blaster when its this close to these little tar balll things but it was effective.... but I fear the long term effects could ruin my clearcoat?

What you guys/gals think?
