Anyone else have dull 4th gen side mirrors?

My sideview mirrors on my 94 lude look like crap. They are very dull. I dunno if it is a combination of the colr(milano red) or if it is fron wax or whatever. Someone please tell me what has caused this, and if there is any way I can restore them to their original beauty.

Red is the worst color on any car for fading. On the mirrors the paint is thinner therefore when you wax them you remove a thin layer of paint and this is not good. A general rule of thumb is to not wax mirrors, just give them a light polish if need be.
For your situation, the only way to restore them is to repaint them.

Mine look like crap, too. I waxed them, and that did no good. I'll try to polish them tommorrow and do a before and after.
