Acrylic Werks WORKS!

So my paint job was pretty dull, my black was almost grey. This dude came into my work and showed me this stuff and did a corner of my hood. It made my paint look almost brand new again. I had metal specs too! who knew ha. I thought it looked good but wasnt sure if it would last or it was just like a temporary thing so I didnt buy any. Well after a few months that spot still shined and made the rest of my car look really bad so I bought the kit and did my whole car. People were like did you get your car painted? That stuff was good. Sorry if this seams like an ad for it or something, but it was awesome stuff.

Has anyone else used this stuff? Its at Automotive Polish & Wax - Car, Truck, Boat, RV, Aircraft Polish by Acrylic-Werks. Heres a pic of the after. I'll try to did up a before pic soon. I'm for real my car looked like crab before. It works on glass and plastic too. Hope you guys find this helpful. later

Yeah it had the "Too good to be true" thing for me too. Thats why I had to look at the shiny corner of my hood that the guy did for a few months before I got the kit and did the whole car.

So you put some of the wax stuff on a damp cloth and rum it into the secion you want to work on. After some rubbing your cloth will come up with a bunch of dirt and stuff that washing never got off before. Then you spray it with this lubricant stuff and use a clay bar. The clay bar as many of you know makes the paint real smooth and removes stuff from the paint. Then you use the wax again and rub a bunch. After you can see it start to shine up real nice you take a damp cloth and wipe it over the area. Then you buff off the haze and there you have it. It could take a few hours to do the whole car depending on how bad your paint job has gotten. But after you do it the first time if you do it 2 or 3 times a year it will never be as hard as the first time. Its definitely not cheap for the kit and it does take some elbow grease, but its worth it in my opinion.

Thats exactly what it is. Dirt thats embedded in the pores of the paint. A normal wash wont clean deep enough and if you just wax your just making the dirty paint more shiny. This stuff cleans out the pores of the paint, thus why it works better on a warm day in direct sunlight.

I bought this stuff and it does really work. I don't know 93 lude si nor do I know anyone with acrylic werks, just gave it a shot to see what happened. It takes some elbow grease and time if you're doing the whole car but definitely works better than all the other waxes I've tried

Regular waxes have no cleaning ability. They're just used for protection and to enhance shine. From what I read Acrylic Werks is an all in one cleaner/polish/wax. The phyiscal condition of the hood in the pic just looks like it could use a good wash, clay bar, polish and wax. The results would probably been even better. I'm not knocking Acrylic Werks it may work great, but I don't really believe in the "all in one" type products. I really feel things need to be done in stages.

Not sure why no one thinks the hood is washed haha. It really was that bad. I went over the whole car once before with turtle wax polishing compound and then waxed and it turned out ok, but it took more work and didn't come out as good as this stuff. I'm sure there are multistage ways that would yield better results. I just think this stuff is cool because its simple and has great results.
