91 b21a1 200222miles and doing a long over due head gasket but doing all of them while im in there along with a timing belt/w. pump as well ... was having a terrible idle surge took off the intake mani to clean the egr and egr ports (ports were welded shut and couldnt get to the egr valve bolts so was easiesr to remove whole mani to clean but glad i did cause i spotted the reason behind my oil loss my head gasket seeping along with the oil pan gasket (always seeped/leaked but never burned oil) always ran hella good so gonna reseal this beast and see where were at also doing my valves of course .. im a first timer doing this with limited assistance so if anyone has any tips for a newbie hit me with em (wonder if i should just start a new thread on this) lol anyways have the engine all stripped down to the block just waiting for seals/gaskets then ordering my head bolts when i get paid again then im gonna reassemble this thing (less someone can convince me i dont need new head bolts)

'89 Si w/AT-Sportshift; 381,191miles and counting... still runs great, not as 'peppy' as she used to be, but still goes like hell!!!; tranny slips a little on occasion, but hey. . .I'm NOT complaining!
Now found a wreck w/4-wheel steering and am dying to pull the parts and convert it - just not enough time (or $ for that matter ), so. . .
Note: pls see my Oct '09 post Re. that 'conversion' (Converting to 4-wheel steering?!?). Thanks!!!
