My 91 Si has a funny idle. Shop said that the throttle cable was too tight so he loosened it a bit. It is better but still occasionally, mostly when warm, will stay idling at 3000 rpm driving down the road and when coming to a stop and putting in the clutch, will stay at 2500-3000. A few seconds after coming to a stop, the idle will drop to a normal 700 rmp. Don't know what to do.

My step-brothers 3rd gen would have an idle that jumped all over the place sometimes. It ended up being the throttle body. It's easy to replace by yourself. I would make sure that's what it is before doing anything.
