upgrades to 91 Prelude

I have a 91' Prelude Si manual that is beautiful and is in great shape in & out. Pretty much original , except has a replacement engine. I believe an Acura Japanese only that has 10 extra hp. The chassis has 360,000 miles and replacement engine about 80,000. Again, car is beautiful and just went through safety and emissions needing nothing and recently had new paint. The goal is to make it a car I drive mostly as a second car.

My question is that I would like to start adding some extra torque, hp, ect. in a way that will make it even more fun in a way that won't break the bank. I really don't want to change the tires or wheel from the standard 14", at least any time soon as they are in great shape.

Any suggestion? Advice? Recommendations?

This is new to me but I love the car so much and want to maximize it in a reasonable way.

I have been told a chip and cold air intake would be a good start, and even that info has to many options.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just do some simple bolt on things, intake, short ram or cold air, depending on how much it rains in your area, I prefer short ram. And exhaust and a header will all be pretty cheap, depending on brand and you'll see a difference in the way it drives
