Hey guys,
My mom is having problems with her knees so driving a 5 speed is not an option for her anymore. I know this question is the exact opposite of what most tuners want to do so that is why I'm asking. She has a 91 Prelude Si. The car has such low original miles and she has owned it since new so she is considering swapping the 5speed tranny for an automatic. What's involved? What other parts are needed? ECM? Flywheel? Is it worth doing? She loves the car.

Haha, that's definitely the opposite direction most people want to go. But since she loves the car so much it might be worth doing the swap. If I was going to do this, I'd probably find a good auto to manual swap write-up and kind of reverse it. Here is one from a very good 3rd gen site.

I know there are other write-up out there. You'll just need to look through them and you should be able to figure out what parts you'll need. Good luck.
