What is the stock pipe diameter on an '88 2.0 Si? I'm eventually want to install a full exhaust kit, but in the meantime would it be a waste of money to buy a universal Apex muffler? Thank you.

Now it's raining, too. I live at the beach, the snow was cool for like three days, then I almost killed myself and got arrested. I can't wait for warmer weather!

well we got our first snow and my friend and i wrecked his truck. we cracked the rear axle ripped off the front bumber, broke the radiator, blew out the rear shocks and poped all 4 tires. oh i'd say over $7,000 damage at a woping 15 mph. i hate snow.

From what I've heard, it's 1 7/8" in diameter. They have pieces that will make a univeral muffler fit. I'd say to have it installed and tell them that eventually you want to run bigger mid pipe. But then again, it only ran me an extra $100 to have them make my mid pipe w/ 2.25" mandrel bent piping so if you have the extra cash, have it done at the same time.
