Can you be more specific? Are you asking for optimal shift points for best fuel economy? Best acceleration? It doesn't hurt to give a little more detail when posting a question.
With my 89 Si, I shift at different rpm's. It depends on how I'm driving my car at that moment. If I want fast acceleration, I shift at around 5500 to 6000 rpms. For fuel economy while daily driving, I shift closer to 4500 rpms. Now, when I used to drive an 89 S, I pretty much shifted it the same, except for acceleration I rarely went above 5500 rpms. Just keep it below the redline and you'll be fine.
